Yoooooooo THIS BRILLIANT BEAUTIFUL young lady and might we add an Oscar WINNER is gearing up to play one of the political female icons we all know as thee first Black Congresswoman Shirley Chisholm in a new biographical drama.
According to The Grio, this movie will be simply titled ‘Shirley’. Now the film will be written and directed by John Ridley, who won best adapted screenplay Academy Award for ’12 Years a Slave’.
To make things more exciting Regina King and her younger sister, Reina King of Royal Ties Productions will produce, along with film company Participant.
Ms.King has always has often publicly expressed her desire to play Chisholm, said the Congresswoman’s fearless determination has been an inspiration.
