Black Fact = 1963- The home of civil rights activist, Medgar Evers, was bombed on this date in 1963. This private home – now a National Historic Landmark – has been turned into a museum and restored to look as it did when the Evers family lived there.
Evers was assassinated just two weeks later on June 12,1963.
