Kyrie Irving suspended over ‘failure to disavow antisemitism’ after Twitter controversy

The Brooklyn Nets announced Thursday the suspension of Kyrie Irving, days after he tweeted a link to a documentary that has been criticized as antisemitic and then defended his decision to do so.
In a statement on Twitter, the team said they made repeated attempts to help Irving “understand the harm and danger of his words and actions, which began with him publicizing a film containing deeply disturbing antisemitic hate.” #theraydiotwins
