Black Fact = 1942 (March 7) – Capt. Benjamin O. Davis, Jr. and 2nd Lieutenants Mac Ross, Charles DeBow, L. R. Curtis, and George S. Roberts, all future 99th Pursuit Squadron members, became the first cadets to graduate from the Tuskegee Flying School.
