1- Black Fact = 1969 (May 5) Moneta Sleet, Jr. won the “Pulitzer Prize” in photography on this date in 1969. Sleet was awarded the “Pulitzer Prize” for a photograph of Mrs. Coretta Scott King and daughter, Bernice, at Dr. King’s funeral. #theraydiotwins
