Jim Brown, Football Great and Civil Rights Activist/Champion, Dies at 87

Jim Brown (James Nathaniel Brown /February 17, 1936 – May 18, 2023), the Cleveland Browns fullback who was acclaimed as one of the greatest players in pro football history, and who remained in the public eye as a Hollywood action hero and a civil rights activist on Thursday (May 18) night at his home in Los Angeles. He was 87.

His family announced his death on Friday on Instagram.
