Legendary Actor And Athlete Carl Weathers, the actor known for roles in Rocky, Predator and The Mandalorian, has died. He was 76.
Carl Weathers, a former NFL linebacker who became a Hollywood action movie and comedy star, playing nemesis-turned-ally Apollo Creed in the “Rocky” movies, facing off against Arnold Schwarzenegger in “Predator” and appearance in “Happy Gilmore,”as well as many other movie roles.
His family said in a statement Friday, according to news reports stated , that Weathers “died peacefully in his sleep” on Thursday, Feb. 1,2024.
