Civil rights activist and SiriusXM talk show host Joe Madison, who was among the most influential commentators on race and politics in the country, has died according to an announcement released by his family on his website. He was 74.
His family released a statement on Wednesday evening.
“Joe dedicated his life to fighting for all those who are undervalued, underestimated, and marginalized,” his family said in an online tribute. “Although he is no longer with us, we hope you will join us in answering that call by continuing to be proactive in the fight against injustice”.
He was also a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity,Inc.
