Willie Mays, the baseball Legend and Hall of Famer with a career that spanned 22 seasons, has died at age 93, the San Francisco Giants announced in a post on X on Tuesday (6/18/24).
He was a 24-time All-Star and was a center fielder for the New York and San Francisco Giants whose unmatched blend of speed and power made him a cultural icon and one of the finest players in the history of baseball.
