Black Fact = 1917 (March 12) – The Girl Scouts were founded in Savannah, GA on this date in 1912. Their first black troop was formed in 1917 and they desegregated in the 1950’s. Dr. Gloria D. Scott became the first black national president of Girl Scouts in 1975. #theraydiotwins
