Black Fact = 1922 (March 4) – Bert Williams, famed entertainer, died in New York City on this date. It is believed that Williams along with George Walker were the first black recording artists. He also portrayed the slow-witted, shuffling Black man that was then a standard, if racist, role in vaudeville. #theraydiotwins
