Its being reported (The GRIO)that after about four years since her last match, Serena Williams is officially making her comeback to professional tennis.
As announced Monday that she has accepted a wild-card invitation to play doubles in next week’s HSBC Championships, a 500-level event held at Queen’s Club in London.
Williams, 44, never officially announced her retirement, but it’s been almost four years since her last match. Late last year, though, the 23-time grand slam singles champion started taking steps toward a possible return to action.
