On Saturday morning, the four-time Olympian took gold on the floor exercises at the gymnastics World Championships and bronze on balance beam to become the first woman in 30 years, and first American ever, to win a medal in every event. We have ALREADY been PROUD of her accomplishments this makes it more exciting!
Biles took a year off after the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, where she was part of the gold medal-winning team nicknamed the “Final Five.”
During her time off, Biles went public with sexual assault allegations against former Olympic doctor Larry Nassar. More than 160 women have accused Nassar of molesting them when they were minors.
If you were not aware the six medals give Biles 20 for her career, tied with Svetlana Khorkina for the career record for a female gymnast.
